James S. Goldberg brings to the table a vast array of legal expertise in commercial real estate transactions, financings and lending transactions, complex lease negotiations, corporate, business, and complex healthcare transactions, and turnarounds, workouts, restructurings, commercial litigation matters, and business insolvency matters involving distressed properties and businesses. Retired from the private practice of law with the firm of Stoll Keenon Ogden PLLC, James is now Managing Director with Paramount Lodging Advisors (“PLA”), a nationally recognized commercial real estate firm specializing in the hospitality and lodging industry, in PLA’s office in Louisville, KY and Naples, FL. James is active in commercial real estate transactional brokerage, the capital markets sector, and general consulting and advisory services.
James has been actively engaged in the commercial real estate and mortgage banking business, enjoying success in completed sale and financing transactions throughout much of the eastern United States. James has an AV rating from Martindale and Hubbell and has been listed in Best Lawyers of America and Super Lawyers of Kentucky.
James has served for thirteen years on the Board of Directors of the Kentucky Housing Corporation (KHC), including seven years as its Chairman. He has also served over twenty years on the Board of Trustees of the predecessor to KentuckyOne Health, two years as Chair of its Finance Committee and two years as Chair of its Legal Committee. James is also a former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Metro United Way.
